Has your physical activity taken a backseat?
It’s understandable with everything that happens in life physical activity and movement can take a back seat. But what we can see is the African- Caribbean community in the UK are more likely to be physically inactive (29.2% of the black community being inactive and 14.8% are fairly active). This isn’t to say the African- Caribbean community doesn’t want to be active, but they might need support getting there.
Welcome to our 12 week project!
Our 12 week project supports you in overcoming barriers that might be stopping you from being active. We work through a number of areas to help you work toward the goal you want to achieve. The sessions are a non-judgmental space for you to talk about what’s stopping you and how you can overcome it.
There are three main objective:
Self awareness: Allowing you to understand your barriers
Mindset: Change the way you THINK about exercise
Plan: Create a plan that fits around your lifestyle and that you enjoy
Change: Create change in your life that you can sustain

What our 12 weekers says!
The Format

For 12 weeks you will have a 45 minute virtual one - to one or group session with Jodine.

From week 4 you will receive support from a registered dietitian and personal trainer. This will help you align your nutritional goals with your fitness work and get support with a training plan.

areas that will be focused on include goal setting, your environment, changing behavior and your barriers

You will be part of a community of others who have been through the project and are working towards being active every week. This will be a what’s app group, monthly virtual meet ups and in person class meet ups every 8 weeks.

Meet Our Support experts

Jasmine Carbon is UK registered dietitian and founder of Carbon Nutrition & Dietetics with 7 years of clinical and community experience.
Her passion lies in delivering evidence-based nutritional advice and ensuring that this is tailored to the client’s cultural heritage and diet preferences.
Jasmine provides bespoke advice to meet the health goals of the client. She is a specialist in nutrition support, Afro-Caribbean cultural diets, and diet related health conditions with a high prevalence in West African and Caribbean communities: type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol and high blood pressure and has a special interest in bridging the gap between traditional herbalist and modern day medicine.
She is the Principal Dietitian and Team Lead for a community dietitian team in South London and is the Vice Chair for the British Dietetic Association (BDA) London Branch.

Hi I'm Chaz.I'm here to help support you on your journey towards enjoyable and optimal health through movement.
Empowering you with knowledge and ensuring you are safe to exercise will help move to closer to the activities you enjoy.
By working together with your motivation, persistence and consistency and my knowledge acquired over both my careers in personal training and physiotherapy we'll get you there.

Manny is a energetic and enthusiastic motivator who uses a variety of coaching techniques to help his clients achieve their goals. He specialises in fat loss and muscle gain as well as training for performance, drawing on strength and conditioning strategies.He is a firm believer in the enjoyment aspect of exercise which will help you adhere to long term healthy lifestyle changes. With a background in Sports and Exercise Science he aims to help his clients understand the science behind health and fitness.

Rebuild health doesn’t focus on weight loss, calorie intake or weight management. Our focus is on moving your way and supporting you to recognise barriers that have been stopping you to date.

Just because you’ve reached the 12 week mark doesn’t mean the support from us stops. You will be part of our community! Following the 12 week project you will have the option to be added to our whatsapp group for continued support. In addition every 8 weeks we will meet up for a class & social!
We understand that 12 weeks is only the beginning of your journey.

If you would like to do the project along side a partner, family member or friend we are able to accommodate this. You will need to be comfortable with this person in case we need to tackle difficult subjects.
